During this time, Chris was involved with conducting surveys of fire and life safety features including egress, detection/alarm, suppression, smoke management and other fire safety related features. In order to address the varied fire and life safety challenges, a performance based approach was implemented and an overall fire/life safety strategy was developed and implemented to address stakeholder’s needs and that limited the aesthetic impact to this historic building.
